Inspiration of the Day: Robbie C. Ward and "Animal Math"

Last year I discovered an instagram acount by the name of @robbiecwardart and was floored by the illustrations he was creating. By hand. On paper! In a world of digital, 3d, and generative art, this was a breath of fresh air. But that wasn't all. He was also sharing his process in making a short FILM with his illustrations. I followed intently, waiting for Robbie to share a release date, or even a date when he thinks it would be done. After months of updates and short animated teases, it's finally here. Last week Robbie C. Ward uploaded and shared his trailer for his completed work of art. "Animal Math" is the name, and a quite trivial one too because "math" lends to the idea of logic and order while his imagrey lends to freedom and chaos.
