Motion Design for Daiwa Capital Markets

For most of today, I was rendering full-res animations of my designs for Daiwa's LED displays located in their brand-new Manhattan office.

I initially designed a handful of other 2d and 3d stills that focused on their elements. For speed, I used a mix of AI-generated city images and graphic elements from Envato.com . After the skyline/logo design was approved, I started production on creating it in Cinema 4D and After Effects this past week.

INITIAL MOTION DESIGN PROGRESSION:

What is left is comping all the 3d renders and 2d elements together tomorrow. I also will be making the landing frame as a "living"/animated loop. I'm thinking of having the clouds slowly drift and the yellow ribbon ripple and wave in the air elegantly.
