While waiting for a render from my "Most Dangerous Game" project, I decided to scrub through my regular reddit threads for Inspiration (r/MotionDesign, r/AfterEffects, r/Design) and came across this video by znow_aex. ( https://www.youtube.com/@Znow_w/videos ) I was immediately floored, super curious, and had impostor syndrome, all in a great way. The way this artist used frames from the famous Frank Miller comic "The Dark Knight Returns" to create a cinematic, sort of trailer reel left me wanting more. I felt hyped throughout the piece, and it left me wanting more. znow_aex has other videos on his channel which are just as great and seem to be posting them once a month. Hey, I don't mind waiting if the content is this great each time. I'm not sure I'm skilled enough to make my film look and feel this way, but it's definitely lighting a fire under my ass to make my animation at least half as good as what this is.
