The Most Dangerous Game - Short Film Creation - Part 01: Writing the Script

Today, after freelance work, I began writing the script for my short film based on Richard Connell's short story "The Most Dangerous Game". I read the book 2 times as well as watched the 1932 film to get me familiar with the story. Currently, I am aiming to have the first draft as true to the source material as possible, but I am planning on changing things up a bit in the later drafts to make the film work for the screen. Like Jordan Peele has said about first drafts "...I’m simply shoveling sand into a box so that later I can build castles.“

I can't wait to finish this step so I can jump to storyboarding and illustration.
